It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? #37

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey meant to highlight books you read in the past week, and what you’re planning on reading this week.

I did better with my reading this week, helped by some really fun books, and an extra hour on my morning commute on Friday, due to a broken down train. A good book turned that lemon into lemonade, though!

Finished:
The Psychopath Test by Jon Ronson
Just My Type by Simon Garfield
The Way We Fall by Megan Crewe

Continuing to read:
Beautiful Chaos by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl (I need to get it back from the library!)
11/22/63 by Stephen King (sadly, have to take it back to the library before I’ve finished it, again)
Inheritance by Christopher Paolini (waiting for it to come back! I’d buy the ebook if it weren’t so darn expensive)

Hoping to finish:
Dearly, Departed by Lia Habel (I always say I want to finish, but I seem to never devote the time needed)
The Leftovers by Tom Perrotta
Darkness Falling by Peter Crowther

What are your reading plans for the coming week? Also, please email me if you’re going to BEA and the Book Blogger Convention and would like a roommate. New York hotels are pricey!

  1. I hope to get to 11/22/63 soon too. BEA sounds exciting – not sure if I’m going yet or not though,

I am interested to see what other people thought about The Way We Fall. I was not so impressed.

I enjoyed it, but can see where other people might not. The writing is really pared down, so the reading level would easily be middle grade.

Happy New Year! My post reflects two weeks of reading. Please come see what I’m reading now.

    Enjoy your books.

Hi: I heard the Fresh Air broadcast last summer with the author of the Pyschopath Test – sounded fascinating. So interesting, the power of science to have impacts we don’t expect. Happy Reading, Ruby
