I am dying to go again this year, and to go to the Book Blogger Convention as well, but will only be able to afford it if I find a person to split the cost of the hotel room. I’m looking for women only, since I’m not comfortable rooming with a strange guy (and my boyfriend wouldn’t like it either). I know a lot of people had roommates last year, and I would love to have the opportunity to get to know some people in person. I won’t register to go until I know that I’ll have at least one roommate.

Hopefully? I just don’t really know people. It seems like folks have their friends, and I’m just not home/online enough to make strong relationships. We’ll see! Also, if my boyfriend gets a job by then, I’ll just pay for it

I know what you mean about not making strong connections. I often feel that way, too, but I have made a few friends through blogging who I adore.
